A Sneak Peak At A Great Louisiana Festival - Thibodeauxville |
| |
| Thibodeauxville is a Louisiana Fall Festval and Event |
Hi this is Mark Kearns for the Thibodaux Chamber of Commerce I want to give you a little sneak preview of the best fall festival in Louisiana. Of course I’m talking about Thibodeauxville. You see on November 13th the Thibodaux Chamber of commerce is going to shut down the streets to downtown Thibodaux LA and put on one of the best free family shows around.
I just wanted to give you a little sneak peak of what’s to come…
Thibodeauxville covers all of downtown Thibodaux. As you enter you’ll see 2nd street and the entire cross streets lined with booth after booth. People come from all over to display everything from handmade crafts to furniture, jewelry, music, prints, photos, foods… the list goes on and on. As you look around, take your time no ones in a rush and be prepared to make some new friends along the way.
Listen, your kids are going to love the face painting, and sand art, and be sure to take some time and drop by the petting zoo. They might even enjoy a pony ride. But the fun doesn’t stop there, there are many other Thibodeauxville activities waiting to be enjoyed.
Be sure to take time to stroll by the eye popping auto display that takes up a couple of blocks. The streets are lined with everything from vintage autos of the past to state of the art screaming street machines. If you love to talk cars, you’re going to be in heaven.
You know Thibodeauxville attracts the attention of all sorts of people from around the globe. We have everyone From princesses to celebrities enjoying Thibodeauxville. We even have that jolly ole man from the North Pole pay a visit.
Bet I know why…
He’s worked up an appetite for our next stop, the famous Thibodeauxville food court. Here you can enjoy all kinds of mouth watering south Louisiana delights like Cajun fried catfish, Cajun white-beans, jambalaya, ea-too-fay & gumbo to name just a few.
But that’s not all here. You can have anything from BBQ brisket to pulled pork sandwich, hamburgers, hotdogs to a Philly cheese steak, Asian delights and everything in between. The food court covers a city block. Be sure to save a little room for the many deserts you’ll find here.
Everywhere you go you see happy people smiling and having a great time. And there are always live bands playing a variety of music. Folk, Christian, jazz r&b it’s all here. And if you get the urge, don’t be shy; just find somebody to dance with. Thibodeauxville is truly fun for all ages.
